The Journey Begins

Your path into the Order of the Dryghtyn starts here. Step forward with an open heart and a willing spirit.

The Order of the Dryghtyn believes the Lord and Lady walk in both lands with the Lady tending more towards the spiritual and the Lord to Reality. These realms are connected via two paths that all of the living will cross over the course of their life.

From spirit to birth into the real. And then from the real through death returns to spirit.
There are five paths between the two that can be traversed from either direction, whether spirit or real, via the channels of religion, magic, philosophy, subconscious, and gifts.

Religion, regardless of which kind, links the spirit and real to each other by allowing us to tap into ourselves and the spirit that we contain. It allows you to work towards achieving your best and most spiritual self while in reality. And vice versa, allows you to return to reality from the spirit that is left when the mortal body passes.

Magic can pierce the veil and call upon the powers of both reality and spirituality. This is a divine gift from the Dryghtyn. It can be experienced in rituals and holidays. Again, regardless of religion, this is universal.

Philosophy allows a connection to both sides merely by being intangible. It allows for higher thought function and intention in life and in death. It pulls from both sides an understanding of either side based on our spirit's ability to determine good and evil.

Subconscious is a path that can be pursued in dreams and via certain medicinal plants. This is a portion of the spirit that we have little control over and thus can be used by either side to relay information vital to both sides. This path is incredibly interesting because it relies on influences outside the normalcy of the conscious mind that will try to reason. The subconscious accepts. This is an involuntary reaction to stimuli.

Gifts are a path that are given to some, but all can hone skills to learn to discover hidden gifts. Regardless of religion, people are born with inherit abilities from the spirit side. And when we die, those abilities go back with us. Whether clairaudience, clairsentience, claircognizance, clairalience, clairgustance, clairtangency, clairempathy, or clairvoyance, these special skills will allow the real to reach the spirit and the spirit to reach the real.

The Lord is called many names, but for our purposes He will be called God. He is also known as Cernunnos, the Horned God, Pan, and Herne. The Lady also has man names, but for our purposes will be called Goddess. She is also known as The Triple Goddess, "The Maiden, Mother, and Crone," Hecate (or Hekate), Morrigan, Nehalennia, and The Fates.
Although both are pictured on one side, they reside within both and travel as they will between the reality and spirituality planes. In them, all things are balanced and perfected to their divine purpose.
The Order of the Dryghtyn exists to provide a balanced and holistic understanding of both reality and spirituality regardless of which path is used to traverse beyond birth and death. All living creatures traverse between the planes via birth and death, but because of their influence in both planes, there are paths between birth and death where all may come to know them.
