Subconscious
The subconscious is the part of us that operates beneath the surface of waking awareness. It does not reason or resist — it receives. It is the deep well from which dreams rise, where ancestral memory is stored, and where the spirit communicates most freely with the self.
Within the Order of the Dryghtyn, the subconscious is recognized as one of the five paths between the real and the spirit. It is a channel that cannot be forced — only invited. Through dreams, meditation, plant medicine, and deep stillness, the subconscious opens and allows what the conscious mind cannot hold to pass through.
To work with the subconscious is to surrender control with intention. The Lord and Lady speak here in symbol and sensation, in feeling and image. Learning to listen is a lifelong practice — and one of the most rewarding paths the order offers.
