Dear Wanderer,
As our spiritual endeavors are changing and the business taking shape, we are going through some rebranding. Divine Dokter is being put aside to give more of a focus for a combined husband and wife pursuit that will more closely reflect our pursuits. However, I, Solace, will continue to provide all of the services and options that were previously provided. The Daily Divine is becoming Insights and the date. This will more closely align with the work we are doing.
The Elder Futhark Rune for today is Hagalaz. It is the symbol for hail, but normally is associated with change or disruption. Aptly pulled today as we are well under our way to transitioning from Divine Dokter to The Wayfarer's Hearth. This change is welcome and aligns more with the goals that myself and my husband, Sage, have for this website. As before, I'll give a quick understanding what the rune could mean in love, work, and personal life. With that, let's get into it!
For love, this disruption or change may be a good thing. So where romance is concerned, look for that silver lining in the clouds. You must endure, adapt, and move forward.
For career, the change or disruption could be any number of things. Whatever it is, let it be the catalyst that moves you forward towards your personal goals.
For personal, storms come and go. You can prepare, but some will inevitably crop out of seemingly thin air. If your life is in shambles, you must begin again. You are strong enough to start over.
My five card tarot spread today is as follows:
1. Ten of Swords
2. Inverted Justice
3. Inverted Ace of Pentacles
4. Inverted Knight of Cups
5. Eight of Cups
When I do tarot readings, I often do the five card spread with lessons from the past, for the present, and that pertain to the future followed by an obstacle to overcome and the solution to that obstacle. The minor arcana cards indicate my control over the future. While the major arcana card indicates that the Fates control my destiny. For me today, there are a lot of negatives in this reading. A past that was a dead end. A present that dealing with unfairness. A future that conveys missed chances. An obstacle that hints at a disconnection from reality. And a solution that indicates I need to leave something behind.
As I looked at the mix of the rune and the tarot, I can see today that this negativity is reminding me that each storm, each trial, each tribulation has an outcome and I am the author of that outcome. I may be unable to change the present (the only major arcana card of the spread), but the future, obstacle, and solution are well under my control. Changes are being made and hopefully that brings about a change that will allow me to continue to provide daily insights.
I will be taking a break from blogging Saturdays and Sundays. Sage might, but I will use that time for my own spiritual well being. As I'm the main contributor to this organization, I will spending a lot of time making things work better for the future.
